In conjunction with its Week Without Violence, Sauk Valley's YWCA in Sterling, IL, is sponsoring a Poetry for Peace contest. The rules are simple and the deadline is 10 October. So, if you're a fast poetry writer, or you have one on the tip of your pen, or if you have a peace poetry on the shelf which you can take down, hurry and get it in for the commemoration.
