I want to share a lovely piece by Mark Bittman on Wendell Berry which echoes the peaceful tone that Wendell Berry's work has always done.
Most of Wendell's work which we have is under the Philosophy and Religion section of Books on First, as are those titles still in print of Henry David Thoreau. We must all stop and think about what philosophy guides our lives and then, whether that's the philosophy we want guiding our lives. Berry and Thoreau are certainly wonderful starting points (or midway or end).
