Happy Father's Day!
Lonna Saunders of Rockford learned from her father that there are no stupid questions.
For my father, while learning hard work, perseverance, the role of risk-taking in one's life as well as a healthy belief in luck and timing -- both good and bad, I learned to overcome the fear of failure as well as the fear of success. I learned the value of family. And, in the world beyond, I learned the love of reading, that "family" is much more than those related by blood or even village (or that a village is as big as the world), and that my father did the very best job he could to be a good father and he didn't do a bad job.
Thank you, Dada.
