This Navy Woman Is an American First

This morning, I share a "hear" of someone who is very articulate -- Navy Four-Star General Michelle Howard.  I especially agree with her comment that it is ultimately not a vast conspiracy that discriminates against one as a woman or as an African-American or as another kind of minority, but the box of life of each individual person she meets, which must be overcome, one person and one situation at a time.  It's what one has to do as a minority in America.  It's what one has to do as a person in this world. Thank goodness for a civil society in which change can belong.
